Whoa, okay, so there’s this game called Bridge Constructor Studio that’s dropped on PC VR, PlayStation VR, and even PS VR2. Yeah, I know, another bridge-building game, but get this—it’s got this crazy physics thing going on. ClockStone Studio, the brains behind LEGO Bricktales, whipped this up and Headup put it out there. If you had a Quest, you might’ve seen it pop up last December like some sort of unexpected holiday gift. But now, surprise or not, it’s everywhere. Well, everywhere techy enough, I guess.
Anyway—no, wait—I was talking about the game… right! It’s the first time this manic series hits VR. Been around since 2011, so definitely didn’t expect that.
They tossed in a 70-puzzle campaign, which is like living in a 3D diorama—cute, right? Depending on what vehicle you’ve got, the physics go all over the place. You get to mess around with wood, steel, concrete, or whatever to build these contraptions. No budget cap either, unless you want to hoard some extra goodies for keeping costs low. I tried it once, and well, I can’t say I was frugal.
There are like five different biomes—think snowy canyons and valleys. Vehicles? They go from big transporter trucks to quirky pizza vans. And—wait for it—five profiles in case your roommate or cat wants a go at it without screwing up your genius designs.
So yeah, you can grab Bridge Constructor Studio now on Steam, GOG, EGS, and all those other gaming places. Oh, and if you’re one of those mixed reality people, that’s only on Quest 3. Not sure why, but there it is.
