Omega Pilot Evolution is this VR racing game—it’s intense, futuristic, you know? It’s coming to Quest, Pico, and PlayStation VR2. So, XOCUS (yeah, they did EXOcars) is whipping up the sequel to Omega Pilot from 2022. I mean, this thing is like strapping yourself into a rocket. Seriously, you’re in these anti-gravity cars, apparently zipping through tracks that only crazy speed junkies could love. And skill? Oh yeah, you’ll need it—like a lot.
The game’s crammed with modes—going solo, or you can race others in real-time or not… I got lost there for a sec. But, you’ve got leaderboards, too, so everyone will know exactly how awesome or, well, not awesome you are.
Anyway, I happened to catch their tweet—something about a new buzz or speed-fest heading our way. I guess it resonated with my inner speed demon.
Oh, and the gear you get? Insane. We’re talking energy blasters, EMPs… shields for the faint-hearted. Win some races, pocket some in-game cash, tweak your ship’s speed and all those good things. Gotta look fly while you’re at it, right?
Honestly, that’s about all we know. I mean, maybe they’re still cooking up the visuals—no gameplay or trailers out yet. Just sprinkles of info here and there. Sorta leaves you hanging, though, doesn’t it?
They said something about a November 2025 release for PlayStation VR2. But is it the same story for Quest and Pico? Who knows, the store pages are being shy about it. Keeps you guessing, I suppose.
