Hey, so here’s the deal. It seems like Wander Stars, that cool JRPG thing from Fellow Traveller and Paper Castle, is setting — wait for it — a new release date on the Nintendo Switch. Yup, surprise!
So, they jumped in with some news (isn’t that always the way?) and basically said, “Hey, we’re pushing things back.” Not exactly what we wanted to hear, but here we are.
A big shoutout to those who dived into the open beta. Seriously, that feedback y’all tossed their way was golden. But yeah, it kinda woke them up to the fact there’s more work to do. The game! The game needs work! There’s broken UI, bugs messing with combat, and the whole balancing act? Let’s just say, things get wobbly by episode 2. Good stuff to know, right?
With a bit more time, they’re polishing and bug-squashing like crazy. Oh, and they haven’t exactly been slacking off. Apparently, working nonstop to hit the old deadline wasn’t super healthy. Who would’ve guessed?
And check it! The new launch is September 19, marking seven years since Underhero dropped. Coincidence or genius timing? I’ll leave that to you.
Waiting forever, I know. But they’re grateful for the patience and sticking around. They promise the juice will be worth the squeeze.
Here’s the plot — you’ve got this martial artist Ringo and this sneaky character Wolfe. They’re off across the galaxy, piecing together the Wanderstar map. Think Cowboy Bebop meets Dragon Ball Z vibes. We’re talking twists and turns like you wouldn’t believe.
And the combat? It’s kind of bonkers. With Kiai, a unique martial arts form (no big deal), they’ll be mixing up 200+ words to outsmart enemies. Sounds wild, but I’m curious.
Circle August 1, 2025, on your calendar because that’s when it hits the Nintendo eShop. Wander Stars is coming! Have your Switch ready.
And as for that trailer, not gonna spill the beans here, but it’s out there waiting to be watched. Have fun!
