Oh man, where do I even start with this? So, Jack Black — he’s kinda everywhere right now, huh? I mean, like really in-your-face kinda everywhere. We’ve got him popping up in the Mario movie, then he’s off doing the Minecraft movie, and oh man, the Borderlands movie too. Feels like you can’t escape him in the gaming world. And get this, he’s jumping into Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. Two roles! Not just one. Seriously, two.
Okay, so here’s the thing. He’s back as Officer Dick. Yep, the dude’s got another gig as Constable Richard too. It’s like a UK twist on the whole Dick thing, and it all goes down in the game’s London level. Like why didn’t anyone think of this chaos before?
Now, picture little Dick—or, uh, Richard Ennvee if we’re getting formal—growing up. So according to the Activision folks, this kid was totally bullied. Called a “poser” by skater punks. Ouch, right? Instead of getting all sad and moping about it like most of us might, he’s like “I’m gonna become a cop!” because that’s totally rational… revenge or something.
And about the British guy, Constable Richard? They say he brings the “hard-nosed” business just like Officer Dick. Guess we’ll see about that.
If you’re scratching your head trying to remember Officer Dick, he’s been hidden in the game since way back. Unlocked him in the first game, stayed around till Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, vanished for a bit, then boom! Back in Project 8 and Pro Skater HD. And yeah, Jables got him in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 as well.
Pretty wild, huh? Anyway—uh, wait, lost my train of thought. Oh yeah, the release date! July 11. Mark it down if you’re into that stuff. It’s gonna be on, like, every console imaginable. Nintendo Switch, which is totally still a thing, PlayStation 4 and 5, all the Xbox versions. And PC too, ‘cause why not?
That’s the latest on Jack Black’s gaming takeover. Not sure how this man keeps track of all this. But hey, more power to him.
