Oh boy, blame it on Go Fest’s walking exhaustion or maybe that nagging fear of a leak in my apartment (let’s not dive deep into that chaotic mess), but these weeks can sometimes feel like a blur. You know, that first week of Q3, it’s always like super chill, mostly cause of Canada Day and, well, July 4 too, I guess. This time around, it’s strangely slower than slow. No new Switch 2 dropping. Zilch. We’re kinda, uh, hanging tight with what’s on the OG, and it’s, how do I put it, kinda meh?
We’ve got some Irem Collection thingy on Wednesday (whatever that is), something about Slender that gives me the creeps, and this third game of a series… hold up, did we even get the second one? Beats me! Anyway, this feels like one of those weeks where we’re ticking off boxes till Super Mario Strikers or Mario Smash Football or whatever lands on us with some excitement.
Least the shadowdrop situation feels light-ish, at least from where I’m standing. Phew!
Oh, oh, oh — last week, we totally overlooked Crazy Balloon in the Archives. Don’t ask me why, but something about balloons just catches my eye. Or maybe I’m just balloon-obsessed.
And about this EggConsole game, the one where you wonder if Japanese knowledge is a must-have? Turns out, you’re good. It’s more like an action RPG deal, so no stress over language barriers. Cool, right?

Japan
And there’s Japan, with Slender Threads and cool things like Aery – Titans of the Future. Oh, and let’s not forget, my personal ish — Help Kids Remember Proverbs. Why that name cracks me up is anyone’s guess.
So there you have it — a week of randomness, delayed releases, and quirky titles. Go ahead, get exploring… or not. It’s your call!
