Alright, here goes — let’s dive right into this. So, um, this week I’ve been kind of obsessing (is that the right word?) over the latest stuff from Sid and Tim about the hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. It kinda blew my mind. I mean, it’s one of those things you watch, and you just sit there like, “Yep, this is gonna be something.” But then again, isn’t every GTA? Anyway, I got sidetracked. Happens all the time.
Oh, and speaking of rabbit holes, there’s this game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, that’s supposed to change up the whole turn-based RPG scene. Like, how crazy is that? I was skeptical at first — like, really? Another RPG? But I heard it does this thing where… I don’t know, it just feels different. Hard to explain. Then there’s Doom: The Dark Ages. Yeah, it’s Doom, but with a medieval twist. Swords and sorcery and all that. I mean, who saw that coming? Wild, right?
Okay, so random sidebar: next week’s releases are insane. There’s Labyrinth of the Demon King for PS5 and PS4. Sounds ominous, but hey, that’s probably the point. And Palia — for PS5. Dunno much about it, though. Smash Drums on PS VR2, which sounds like my younger self’s dream. And, oh, Doom: The Dark Ages (yes, again). Can’t say enough about that, can we? Capcom Fighting Collection 2 for the PS4 piles on just for good measure.
Then there’s Destiny 2, chucking out not one but two expansions: The Edge of Fate and Renegades. It’s like they’re just throwing content at us now. Elden Ring Nightreign is teasing some classes — if you’re into dissecting combat systems, you’ll be in heaven.
Just when I thought I’d got it all straight, there’s Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. I got a sneak peek and had a heart-to-heart with Hideo Kojima. The guy’s a legend. Helldivers 2 offers a peek at something called Masters of Ceremony or whatever. All these grand titles confuse me, honestly. Oh, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is back with nine new skate parks, which is just the best news if you’re a crusty old skateboard junkie like me.
Last shoutout for Dormilón making our show sound cooler than we are. Honestly, thanks, dudes.
And a quick heads-up: game release dates can flip like pancakes — seriously, don’t quote me on exact days. Info is usually from press bits or ESRB blurbs, so… yeah, things change. Alright, I’m out.
