Hey, so here’s the thing. Remember that PS5 game everyone couldn’t stop talking about? Ken Levine’s Judas? Yeah, it’s kinda vanished. Like, Poof! Gone. At least for now. It was supposed to come out by now — or at least by March 2025. But nada from Ghost Story Games or Take-Two Interactive. They’re mum. 🤔
Oh man, speaking of plans going sideways, let’s rewind to February 2023. Strauss Zelnick from Take-Two was all like, “Don’t worry, Judas will be out by March 2025.” Sounded confident, right? Or maybe he jinxed it. Who knows. Zelnick did mention things might not go as planned, but hey, he seemed sure they’d manage.
Then, bam! Yesterday, they dropped a bomb. GTA 6, which we were all eagerly waiting for, won’t be a 2025 thing anymore. It’s pushed to May 2026. But zero peep about Judas. Seriously, not one word. Makes you wonder if it’s just kinda… drifting in their to-do list.
Oh, and here’s some drama for ya — last year, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg spilled the beans about this “development hell” Judas was stuck in. Apparently, Levine’s leadership style had everybody stressed and exhausted. Sounds messy, right?
Honestly, given the radio silence and Schreier’s scoop, you start thinking, is Judas ever going to be more than just a name? Or are we stuck just imagining what could’ve been? Gah, I just don’t know.
