Alright, folks, here we go. It’s the last week where the original Nintendo Switch is flying solo in the eShop updates. From next week, Switch 2 stuff is jumping into the mix. So yeah, soak this up for all it’s worth. This week’s eShop roundup is kinda like a throwback party with retro vibes, pre-orders, sweepstakes, and sales all jumbled together. Let’s jump in, shall we? Or maybe wait… nah, let’s go.
So, get this—Nintendo Switch Online’s adding a bunch of Game Boy games. Four of ’em, to be exact. Survival Kids, a Kirby spinoff, and Gradius’s sci-fi shooting madness among them. Seriously, there’s something for everyone. We yapped about these in last week’s Pure Nintendo Podcast too, just in case you missed it.
Now, the Switch 2 is dropping June 5, and the hype is real. Can’t even wait? A few titles, like Rune Factory, Sonic X Shadows, and Fast Fusion, are up for pre-order. Will you grab one for the new console? I’m curious.

The Sword of Hope – Here we go, Prince Theo’s tale! This 1991 Game Boy RPG has you finding the Sword of Hope to save the world from an evil-possessed king. Use LOOK, OPEN, HIT, but careful with HIT—some folks don’t take kindly to being smacked. Switch Online has it.
Kirby’s Star Stacker – Kirby’s world, folks! Stack stars, fast-moving blocks, and outsmart King Dedede in this puzzle. Friends like Rick and Coo are helping. Switch Online, ready for action.
