Hey, so you know how FromSoftware tends to drop bombshells kinda randomly? Well, they’ve finally announced when Duo Expeditions is landing in Elden Ring Nightreign. And don’t get all excited about some revolutionary thing — it’s basically just fancy talk for two-player co-op. I mean, they slapped solo play on quick after launch, but for some reason, co-op needed three players all this time. Go figure.
What were they waiting for? No clue. But hey, it’s happening soon with the next big update.
Oh, and get this: Nightreign’s patch 1.02, which is dropping this Wednesday, July 30. The whole Duo Expeditions thing is the headliner, sure. But there’s more! The devs decided to throw in some quality of life changes too. Thank goodness, right? One they mentioned is about Relics. Like, I’ve been drowning in them, and now we’ll get more ways to sort ’em. Finally!
Seriously, after selling over 5 million units — yeah, I saw those numbers and my jaw dropped — it makes sense they’re adding goodies.
And if you’re into timing, this update hits right before the Everdark Sovereign cycle kicks off again. New versions like Nightlords Tricephalos and some big names are part of it. I mean nerd alert, but I’m kinda hyped.
Anyway, if you’ve been under a rock, recent Everdark bosses included Gaping Jaws and Darkdrift Knight. We got guides for all those map events, so if you’re as lost as I was, check those out. Okay, I’m done rambling. Happy gaming or whatever!
