North America, Europe, both getting a measly six and four games respectively. Fast forward to now, and it’s kinda nuts. Like, North America’s lineup is looking six times what it was. Europe? Going hardcore with almost ten times that. And Japan? Man, can’t confirm due to region locks (because of course), but it’s apparently off the charts.
Right, so before we dive into the wild next week, some stuff’s slipping out the door. That Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is out there, folks. CyberConnect2, with all their RPG strategy stuff, they’ve got a bit of a twist this time with a “story” button… for, um, keeping the kids away from cannons? Sounds odd, but hey, whatever works. Playtonic (Friends) throws a cozy title into the mix — yes, in Cattle Country. Plus, “Saturn Tribute” shooters like Steam-Hearts and Advanced V.G. — a fighting game!
Oh, right — almost forgot. Things we just plain missed last week: Apparently, Wilmot’s Warehouse has a sequel, Wilmot Works It Out. And there’s Ryukyu, which is, like, some kind of solitaire poker — Success made that one. Why it sticks, who knows.
