Sure thing, let’s give this a whirl.

You won’t believe this—or maybe you will, who knows—but the Nintendo Switch 2 is out there, sorta. But hey, no need to panic about game spoilers sneaking onto the net just yet. Not like we don’t have enough of those already, right?
So, picture this: there’s this seven-second clip on YouTube (yeah, it’s gone now…thanks, copyright gods) where user a2dubai casually shows off the Switch 2 box. Bam! There’s the console and those fancy Joy-Con 2 thingies. But when folks asked, “Hey, can we see more?” a2dubai was like, “Nah, gotta wait till June 5th. Something about an update unlock.”
And then—I mean, because of course—someone slid into Wario64’s inbox, claiming they snagged a Switch 2 too. Tried playing good ol’ Switch games on it, but nope. The system said, “Connect to the internet and update your system.” Classic, right? Like, hello frustration!
Oh, oh! Almost forgot. Retail packaging dropped some hints—turns out you’ll need an update to get MicroSD Express Cards running. Fun times ahead!
Mark your calendars because 5 June 2025 is when you can legally grab one of these bad boys. Ready to drop £395.99 if you’re in the UK? Or €469.99 in Europe? And $449.99 for all you in the States. Start saving, or you know, maybe sell a kidney? Just kidding. Or am I?
Where was I? Oh yeah, remember to check out that Nintendo Switch 2 Overview Trailer when you can—if it ever exists in real life.
Anyway, wait…what was I saying again?
