Rogue Incursion’ to Release Non-VR Version Later This Year

Survios just dropped some news about Alien: Rogue Incursion getting an ‘Evolved Edition’ for PC and PS5. It’s like, okay, what does that mean, right? Well, this flatscreen version is doing its thing on September 30th, 2025. Yeah, mark the calendars—or don’t, time is a construct anyway.

Alright, flashback to last year: the game hit PSVR 2, PC VR, and then Quest 3 (in 2025). People were, let’s say, not too thrilled at first? The Xenomorphs were kind of predictable until Survios swooped in with patches, making things less yawn-inducing and more, you know, terrifying?

Now they’re saying they’ve, quote, “re-envisioned” it. Fancy. I figure it means nastier surprises on screen. Zula Hendricks, she’s the main gal. Ex-Colonial Marine, poking around to spill the tea on Weyland-Yutani’s secret antics. With her synth buddy, Davis 01, she’s diving into this Xenomorph mess at Gemini Exoplanet Solutions.

The flatscreen is just ‘Part One’—curtain rises, but only halfway. Survios is cooking up Part Two, where things supposedly get crazier. No clue on when that drops, though. Are they planning more staggered releases in VR and non-VR realms? Or maybe smashing them together later? Your guess is as good as mine.

Bit of a trend for them, huh? Turn VR thrills to flatscreen chills. Back in 2021, they flipped VR boxing into arcade style with Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions.
