Sure thing, here we go:
So, I stumbled across something kinda interesting — ShopTo’s got this Nintendo Switch 2 bundle up for grabs. If you’re still in the market hunting down a pre-order for this next-gen portable-whatever-console, this might be your lucky break. But I mean, who isn’t trying to grab one these days?
Anyway, it’s priced at £520.85. Yeah, I know, not exactly cheap, but hey, it’s more than just the console. They’re throwing in an extra Joy-Con 2 Pair and a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera. Sounds like a lot of tech, huh?
Oh, and the details from Nintendo’s big reveal — I caught their Nintendo Direct thing. The Switch 2’s got a snazzy LCD screen. 1080p, HDR, up to 120 fps, and it’s stacked with 256GB internal storage. I wasn’t sure what all that meant at first (not a tech wizard here), but it sounds fancy enough.
There’s also this new dock with a fan — I guess overheating’s a thing? It bumps resolutions to 4K, too. Neat, right?
Nintendo spilled more about this gadget:
GameShare — So, the whole squad can play one game. Just one person needs to own it. That’s pretty slick. Makes me wonder if this could save some friendships from missing out on multiplayer nights.
Screen glamour — It flaunts a 7.9-inch LCD screen, keeping the same size as its older sibling. I imagine it’s like having a mini-HD TV in your hands. The idea cracks me up, honestly.
Joy-Con 2 magic — These things snap right onto the console, magnetically. Side note, they can work like a mouse, which sounds ridiculous but cool? I dunno.
Handy stand and ports — Adjust the stand any way you like. Two USB-C ports now! Top and bottom — feels like they’re listening to our rants for once. Plus, add a camera for video chat — kind of like those sci-fi flicks, right?
Speed demon — Better CPU and GPU mean faster… everything, really. So, if you’re tired of sitting through load screens, this might be a godsend.
Sound, but make it 3D — They say the audio is crisper with 3D spatial sound. So, you’ll probably feel like you’re right inside the game world.
Storage galore — 256 GB internally (thank goodness, because who has time for deleting stuff?). Uses microSD Express for extra space, which apparently reads faster. New to me, at least.
Mark your calendars: June 5, 2025. That’s release day, and it comes at £395.99 in the UK, €469.99 in Europe, and $449.99 if you’re stateside. I’m not shelling out yet, but I’ll admit I’m tempted.
So yeah, that’s the scoop. Just thought I’d share my ramble with anyone who cares!
I hope you enjoyed the detour with my rambling.
