Some have stepped forward—both Pimax and BigScreen announced they’re committed to reducing the financial hit on users. BigScreen plans to fully absorb any costs, while Pimax will only implement a modest regional surcharge for American buyers. In a market sensitive to pricing, this is encouraging news, especially with signals pointing to possible tariff exemptions for XR headsets. However, we should stay cautiously optimistic until there’s official confirmation that these devices are completely exempt.
