Sitting down with Geoff Keighley, Morhaime introduced Wildgate, an exhilarating new multiplayer PvP shooter that takes players to the outer edges of space. Alongside this thrilling reveal, he also announced the official launch dates for Sunderfolk and Lynked: Banner of the Spark.
We were absolutely delighted to unveil Wildgate, a game that promises high-stakes action in a spacefaring setting from the creative minds at Moonshot Games. Two full-length trailers gave eager gamers a glimpse of what to expect: four-player crews navigating a massive, procedurally-generated universe, outmaneuvering enemy ships, grabbing valuable loot, and enhancing their ships to brave the dangers of the cosmos. The excitement doesn’t stop there. We’re thrilled to confirm that our tactical RPG, Sunderfolk, will launch on April 23. This cleverly designed couch co-op game captures the essence of game night and offers a novel approach to turn-based combat and exploration. Designed for up to four players, Sunderfolk enables anyone, regardless of experience level, to jump into the action using an app on their smartphone or tablet. Developed by Secret Door, it will be accessible on Xbox Series X|S.
Another buzzy announcement is the release date for Lynked: Banner of the Spark, set to make its grand entrance on May 22 for Xbox Series X|S. This colorful rogue-like RPG uniquely combines cozy town-building elements with the thrill of intense roguelite combat. Set in the year 30XX, players must reclaim a world taken over by menacing robots. Armed with a trusty Wyre grapple and accompanied by a band of Unibot allies, you’ll battle through hordes of foes, collect their parts, and rebuild a vibrant community. Whether you choose to play solo or in co-op, you will have access to a wide array of customizable weapons and personalization options to make your hero truly your own.
