In this new chapter of the franchise, players become part of the elite Deadhunters unit, ready to take on the undead and bring an end to the apocalypse. Set amidst the war-torn remnants of Nuremberg, you’ll join forces with Captain Hermann Wolff, the legendary leader of the Deadhunters, on a mission to reunite his family and liberate Europe from the clutches of zombies.
The game offers a deep story-driven campaign that can be played solo or with a friend in two-player co-op mode. You’ll have access to a selection of authentic World War II weapons, including sniper rifles and submachine guns. These can be dual-wielded and manually handled for a real hands-on experience. Additionally, players can earn experience points to level up their Deadhunter and use Weapon Upgrade kits to tweak everything from range and accuracy to scope and capacity.
Facing off against zombie foes is no walk in the park. Besides typical Nazi walkers, prepare to encounter franchise staples like Armored Giants and Suiciders, as well as Sniper Zombies. For fans of Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR, the much-loved X-ray Kill Cam makes its return, allowing players to savor those satisfying long-range shots in dramatic slow motion.
