Sure thing, here we go:

Okay, so here’s the thing about the Switch 2. You don’t need some big announcement to understand how crazy popular it is. I mean, personally, the lengths I went to snag one—honestly, it felt like a full-on mission. And get this: in just, like, four days after it dropped on June 5th, they sold over 3.5 million units worldwide. Wild, right? Nintendo’s own numbers say it’s their fastest-selling system ever. Who would’ve guessed? Well, probably everyone who tried getting one!
And now here comes the PR parade. Doug Bowser, the big cheese at Nintendo of America, had a little something to say:
> “Fans around the world are showing their enthusiasm for Nintendo Switch 2 as an upgraded way to play at home and on the go. We are thankful for their response and happy to see the fun they are already having with Nintendo Switch 2 as they explore new features and games that bring friends and family together in new ways.”
Oh boy. That statement’s as dry as an unsalted cracker, isn’t it? Took me right back to those Intro to PR classes. Not that I attended many, but I remember a C- effort when I see one.
Anyway, he’s not totally off. Between the totally bonkers Mario Kart World and a bunch of third-party games…(trust me, we’re deep-diving into reviews just for you). Plus, there’s more exciting stuff on the horizon—Metroid Prime 4 anyone? Seems like Nintendo’s really gone big on this one with the hardware and those nifty control tricks.
But—plot twist—because everyone wants it, the Switch 2 is like gold dust. Pre-orders and launch-day units just vanished. Poof. Gone. Crazy, huh? Hopefully, they’ll crank out enough units soon. Meanwhile, maybe put aside some bucks for those extra bits and pieces. Or get a head start by playing some Switch games that you can upgrade later. That’s what I’d do. If I, uh, wasn’t still saving myself.

That’s all there is to say. Let’s see where it goes from here!
