Gamers from Austria to the UK, including countries like France, Germany, and Spain, are all welcome to join. Just a heads up, though—players from far-flung regions like the Azores might find participation tricky due to the geographical distance.
### How to Join the Fun
Ready to dive in? Make sure your Nintendo Account is set to one of the listed participating countries and that you have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Whether you’ve got a paid membership or you’re just on a free trial, you’re good to go. Simply navigate to the “Official Tourney Qualifiers” through the game’s main menu under “Online” and play at least one match to qualify.
### Scoring System
Your goal? Earn the highest Tourney score possible. This score is a reflection of your skill as a player, calculated based on your match outcomes and the scores of your opponents. You can check your score any time during the event, and there’s no limit to the number of matches you can play to boost your score. Even if a match ends after the official event time, it still counts towards your score, so keep fighting!
### Prizes Await
The top 10 scorers will each snag 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. If that’s not tempting enough, the remaining players in the top 100 will grab 1,000 Gold Points each. A quick word of caution: don’t change your country setting to a non-participating one before the prizes are sent out, as this will lead to disqualification. Any attempts to cheat or exploit glitches will also result in disqualification and could lead to a suspension or termination of your account.
### Receiving Your Loot
Prizes will be delivered directly to the winners’ Nintendo Accounts within two weeks post-event. Get a confirmation by checking the My Nintendo Point Log once you’re signed in.
